Pada 12.11.2014, aktiviti minggu Pendidikan Khas diteruskan dengan perkhemahan mini di PPKI SK Bandar. Dalam mini camping ini juga telah dijalankan pertandingan-pertandingan mini seperti pertandingan mendirikan khemah dan pertandingan memasak.

DAY 3- AKTIVITI SUKANEKA, 'TREASURE HUNT', KUIZ DAN PERTANDINGAN MEWARNA

Pada 11.11.2014, minggu Pendidikan Khas diteruskan dengan aktiviti treasure hunt pada waktu pagi. Kemudiannya aktiviti diteruskan dengan kuiz subjek-subjek P&P. Seperti kuiz Bahasa Melayu, 'Spell-it-right' untuk subjek Bahasa Inggeris, dan pertandingan mewarna.

DAY 2- KLINIK KESIHATAN TERAPI CARA KERJA

Pada 10.11.2014, program minggu pendidikan khas diteruskan dengan klinik kesihatan oleh ahli terapi dari indebrain. Seramai 4 orang ahli terapi telah dijemput untuk membuat demonstrasi di sekolah. aktiviti dimulakan dengan ceramah di dalam makmal sebelum beralih kepada aktiviti amali. Ia sebagai pendedahan kepada guru dan ibu bapa tentang terapi cara kerja yang boleh dijalankan di sekolah mahu pun di rumah.

MINGGU PENDIDIKAN KHAS- DAY 1 (PROGRAM KLINIK KESELAMATAN JALAN RAYA BERSAMA JKJR)

Pada 9.11.2014, satu program bermakna bagi murid-murid Pendidikan Khas telah dijalankan di SK Bandar iaitu Klinik Keselamatan Jalan raya dengan kerjasama bersama pihak JKJR dan UKM. Program ini turut dihadiri oleh para ibu-bapa dan guru untuk sama-sama menunjukkan sokongan terhadap program ini. berikut antara gambar-gambar yang sempat dirakamkan sepanjang program berlangsung.

Bilik Snoezelen merupakan bilik untuk merangsang pelbagai deria bagi kanak-kanak bekeperluan khas. sesuai dengan tagline 'Multi-sensory Environment', ia menyediakan persekitaran yang selamat, tempat untuk bergerak/ bersenam, menjalani terapi, untuk merangsang pelbagai deria sesiapa sahaja yang berada di dalam bilik snoezelen ini. Berikut artikel mengenai Snoezelen room untuk menjelaskan tentang perihal bilik sensori ini.

WHAT IS SNOEZELEN MSE? 

A SNOEZELEN MSE incorporates a specialized selection of sensory equipment and materials that may help clients  adapt their responses to sensory stimulation and to advance education and therapy goals. Each SNOEZELEN MSE is tailored to meet the needs of specific populations according to  age and ability. The blend of sights, sounds, textures, aromas, and motion provide stimulation of the primary sensory systems and may be modified to meet each  participant’s sensory needs.A SNOEZELEN MSE is designed to offer individuals  with special needs and challenging conditions the opportunity to exercise choice through action. These safe, non-threatening environments bridge cognitive, perceptual, behavioral, and  physical impairments,  as well as other limiting conditions to provide a sense of empowerment. Moreover these environments  allow clients to enjoy a wide range of sensory experiences —either passively or actively—that enhance therapy, learning, and relaxation. Further,  in a SNOEZELEN MSE, clients choose the experiences that give them the most pleasure.  Participants interact freely with the different components to create positive environments,  control the level of sensory stimuli, adapt responses to sensory stimulation,  experience easier transition to task, and perform and behave in a more functional manner. A typical SNOEZELEN MSE contains:   Items to stimulate the visual system such as  Bubble Tubes, Fiber Optics, and Solar Range Projectors with  Effect Wheels/Cassettes.   A variety of mats, cushion, and textures that stimulate the  tactile system. Many providing vibratory input or deep pressure.   Different sounds and smells to stimulate the auditory, olfactory,  and gustatory systems. Examples including relaxing music and  aromatherapy centers.   Products for the master systems and fundamental targets in  Sensory Integration Therapy—proprioception and vestibular motion —such as ballpools, weighted items, rockers, and swings.   Soft furnishings and wall padding for positioning, safety,  and comfort. In addition, a SNOEZELEN MSE often affords an opportunity for the participant and caregiver to improve  communication, enhance their understanding of each other, and build trust in their relationship.
